DAN Talent Group is a full-service, faith-based booking agency located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, Tenn. The agency, which was founded in Oct. 2000, helps develop and book talent in three divisions: models, actors and music and offers guidance to those who are new to the business. As a faith-based agency, DAN Talent has booked the Christian rock band, Curtis for churches, and agency owner Stephanie Beck Williams has written a contemporary Christian project that she is recording this summer.
The DAN Talent Model and Actor Divisions consist of theatrical and commercial actors, fashion and lifestyle models of all ages, and stylists, both hair/make-up and wardrobe for film, television, radio, commercials, industrials, music videos, voice-overs, print, runway, fitness, trunk shows, cruise lines and promotional bookings. Clients include advertising agencies, casting directors, record labels, production companies, fashion and commercial photographers as well as individual corporations/companies and corporate marketing groups for the Southeast region.
The Music Division works with record producers, songwriters, engineers and artists for original music for Film, TV, Radio, Licensing, Celebrity Campaigns, and Publishing as well as providing Music Track Libraries, and for ad agencies, corporations, and small companies.
The agency stays busy, even in the typically slower summer months. On a recent visit to the DAN Talent office, in one area a young boy was recording lines for a submission for a feature film, while in another room young girls were in a development workshop rehearsing for the Talent Inc. conference in Orlando, Fla. Outside a professional photo shoot was taking place for an aspiring actress.
Since the entertainment business is highly competitive, DAN Talent helps new and developing talent to build a good foundation to help them compete by providing coaching through workshops. The six workshops focus on on-camera auditioning and acting, print movement, runway, photography, imaging and website with the goal of training newcomers to compete with other actors in the industry who already have work experience.
Franklin resident Stephanie Beck Williams not only owns and operates the company, she is also the head booking agent of DAN Talent Group.
