Valentines Day is right around the corner, so I thought I would share my personal top ten list of Christian love songs. These are songs that were all recorded by artists who have recorded gospel albums. I have selected each song for the beauty of the music and the romance of the lyrics. If you need a romantic playlist for Valentine's Day, you will definitely want to consider adding these beautiful and meaningful Christian love songs:

10. "Holding Hands" - Steve Green
(from Woven in Time - March 26, 2002)

One day, far away, you gently won my heart
And one night, by candlelight, we made a vow to never part
And then it seemed just like a dream
When wide eyed, side by side
We faced the future holding hands

9. "Good Thing Going" - Carolyn Arends
(from Feel Free - March 11, 1997)

Baby I know it's sad - but I don't worry 'bout us
'Cause how could anybody turn my head
When my heart is forever lost to you
How could I fall into another's arms
When I've fallen so deep into a love so true

8. "Beautiful" - Amy Grant & Vince Gill

I'm looking for a way to feel you hold me
Feel your heartbeat just one more time
Reaching back, trying to touch the moment
Each precious minute that you were mine

7. "The Gift" - Jim Brickman
(from The Gift, September 16, 1997)

Winter snow is falling down
Children laughing all around
Lights are turning on
like a fairy tale come true.
Sitting by the fire we made
You're the answer when I prayed
I would find someone
and baby I found you

6. "There Is Love" - Noel Paul Stookey
("The Wedding Song" released in 1971 as a single from Noel Paul Stookey's first solo album, Paul and)

He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts.

Rest assured this troubador is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits here has caused Him to remain,
for whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name,
There is love. There is love.

5. "When Did You Fall" - Chris Rice
(From the album Amusing, August 23, 2005)

When did you fall in love with me?
Was it out of the blue
'Cause I swear I never knew it
When did you let your heart run free?
Have you been waiting long?
When did you fall in love with me?
When did you fall in love?

4. "You Light Up My Life" - Debbie Boone
(From the album You Light Up My Life, the 1977 single hit spent 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and won Debbie a Grammy award)

So many nights I sit by my window
Waiting for someone to sing me his song
So many dreams I kept deep inside me
Alone in the dark but now
You've come along

3. "I Will Remember You" - Amy Grant
(This is the seventh and final single from Amy Grant 's twelfth album, Heart in Motion which was released in March 1992)

I will be walking one day
Down a street far away
And see a face in a crowd
And smile
Knowing how you made me laugh
Hearing sweet echoes of you from the past
I will remember you

2. "Love of My Life" - Jim Brickman featuring Michael W. Smith
(From the album Destiny, January 26, 1999)

You are the love of my life
And I'm so glad you found me
You are the love of my life
Baby put your arms around me
I guess this is how it feels
When you finally find something real
My angel in the night
You are my love
Love of my life

1. "I Will Be Here" - Steven Curtis Chapman

(This is my very favorite Christian love song from the album More To This Life which released in 1989)

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here

These beautiful love songs will definitely add some romance to your Valentine's Day, anniversary or wedding celebration.
